An initiative between the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and Thinksmart, powered by ACEDE which aims to train and improve the skills of Bahraini Entrepreneurs who are inclined to ecommerce and online businesses.

Since launch, all courses in the Bahrain Ecommerce Academy are 100% funded by Tamkeen. Bahraini nationals may be eligible for support through Tamkeen. Future funding may be less than 100%.

While Bahraini nationals can attend the Bahrain Ecommerce Academy with support, the courses are open to all who are interested in doing business online in Bahrain and neighbouring GCC countries like Saudi Arabia. The courses are adapted depending on the level of people in the room.

All participants in the Bahrain Ecommerce Academy will receive certificates from ACEDE- the Associated Centre for Ecommerce and Digital Excellence. ACEDE is an international body based in the United Kingdom.
